Firmly established over many years, Ringwood’s excellent reputation is well-deserved. It is a thriving, highly successful school and a fantastic place for young people to learn and develop.
We have high aspirations for every student, and we strive to ensure that all students achieve their full potential through a clear focus on learning and achievement in a supportive environment. Students only get one chance, and we take our role in providing the best possible opportunities for them very seriously. We are proud of all our students’ achievements, and we take time to celebrate these, whether they are academic, sporting, artistic or dramatic. We are proud of our strong tradition of excellent examination results at both GCSE and A Level.

As a parent myself, I know that children and young people learn best in an environment which is secure, happy and caring. We work hard to create the right atmosphere in school and to see each child as an individual. Ofsted say that our students are “happy and feel safe”. Ofsted noted also that students are “respectful and supportive” towards each other. Students know that their views are listened to and they take pride in, and responsibility for, their school community. During their journey with us, we aim to equip our students with the skills that they will need to flourish; to make the best of opportunities and to be able to positively contribute to society. We especially value our collaboration with parents and the wider community on this journey; ensuring that this partnership is to the benefit of your son or daughter. This is a critical part of our success together.
